&+ getting ready for summer; ♥
summer 2k12 is gonna be here before you know it.
for most of us, it’s less than 4 months away (:
It’s best to start planning now, so I have this guide just for YOU!
 

Toning Up / Losing Weight
It’s never too late to get that bikini body (;
These tips will make a HUGE difference ♥
 

Food / Snacks:
 
- eliminating soda, sweet tea, punch, and other carbonated drinks from your diet can cut out up to 13 pounds a year (:
 
- use smaller plates; it makes your mind think there’s more food & limits what you put onto it
 
- eating healthy doesn’t mean throwing away your favorite snacks! try to find things in sugar free / fat free. & remember to keep everything in moderation!
 
- don’t eat after 7 pm; late-night eating can cause the food to settle in your stomach, which can cause weight gain
 
- cut out condiments on burgers and hot dogs; ketchup, mayo, bbq sauce, salts, etc.
 
- tv dinners are a no-no. if it comes from a frozen box, it should stay there.
 
- tea and sugar free gum can curb cravings
 
- you better be scared when going to the movies...about the snacks I mean; 1 large tub of popcorn has about 76 grams of fat, equivalent to 6 McDonald’s cheeseburgers. ick.
 

Exercising:
don't try to find time to workout, MAKE time(:
It's all about doing it, not saying it.
 
- call up a few of your friends to go walking / running at the park or at a track. it's SO much more fun with other people. plus, it'll keep you motivated!
 
- GET OUTDSIDE! walk your dog, ride your bike, take a walk, play basketball, volleyball, whatever to get your heart beating & you moving :P
 
- dancing is probably one of the most fun things to do, while still exercising! I recommend Dance games on the Wii or Kinect. even going to a party and dancing with your friends is great!
 
- If you are like me, you probably like yoga, pilates, or at home workouts. the ToneItUp girls, Blogilates, Sarah Fit, and Fitness by BexLife all have some good workouts. I do a different one every day to keep it interesting
 
Hair / Clothes / Overall Look:
 
Hair:
Every 2-3 months I change my hair color
&+ summer is no different ♥
 
- A lighter version of your hair color works really good against a sunkissed tan (;
 
- If you're a natural blonde, brighten things up with a shine / color. you can do it at home or get it done somewhere. Ask the stylist about it; they'll know what it is. I think this golden honey color is HOT for 2012!

Clothes:
 
- start with simple / basic things first; tank tops, tshirts, shorts, flip flops, or sandals. those are the easiest and cheapest things to shop for. Get at least 4 tanks & four shirts. Rainbow sandals are great for summer! A little bit pricey, ya know, as sandals go. but I think both guys and girls should own some (:
 
- then the swimsuit. DUN DUN DUN *dramatic music* As nice as your body may look, it still can be a challenge shopping for a bikini.
 
- if you are small on top; get a bikini with lots of ruffles or fringe, embellishments, etc. the same goes if you have no booty lol. a bow or ruffles can really make it pop! horizontal lines can also make everything look not so flat (:
 
- If you have a big bust; try a vneck if you're going one-piece. wide halter straps are really great for extra support too. at victoria's secret they have underwire tops, and those work just perfectly (;
 
- Don't forget to chop off all those split ends! you want nice, healthy, and fresh hair at the beginning of summer!
 
Other Stuff:
